THE SAMUEL AUTISM PROJECT
Evidence. Hope. Advocacy.

Families deserve answers.
Families navigating profound autism are often faced with complicated decisions, limited treatment options, and unanswered questions.
The Samuel Autism Project exists to help change that through research, education, and advocacy.
We believe families deserve reliable information, healthcare professionals deserve stronger evidence, and policymakers need to hear directly from the families affected by the decisions they make.

THREE PILLARS
Research. Eduction. Advocacy.

Research
Advancing awareness of existing autism research and advocating for rigorous scientific investigation into medical cannabis and other emerging approaches.

EDUCATION
Making complex research understandable and accessible to families, healthcare professionals, advocates, and policymakers.

ADVOCACY
Bringing the experiences of families affected by autism directly to policymakers and advocating for research, resources, education, and responsible evidence-based policy.

One boy inspired a much bigger mission.
The Samuel Autism Project was born out of a mother’s determination to adequately support the needs of her son with autism in a world with limited resources.
This organization is about breaking the stigma surrounding medical cannabis through evidence-based research while exploring safe, evidence-based options to support children with autism and their families.
It is about a little boy who, in the midst of his own struggles, inspired hope for countless other children who share his diagnosis.
With more research, education, and advocacy, we can expand our understanding of autism, improve access to evidence-based care, and provide families with the knowledge and support they deserve. No parent should have to feel alone while searching for answers to help their child.
Samuel’s journey is our inspiration.
Our mission is to ensure that every family has hope, every healthcare professional has access to better evidence, and every child has the opportunity to benefit from continued scientific discovery.

OUR MISSION
To advance evidence-based autism research, empower families through education, and advocate for compassionate, science-driven care.
OUR VISION
A future where autistic individuals and their families have access to high-quality research, informed healthcare professionals, meaningful support, and evidence-based options that improve quality of life.
OUR GUIDING PHILOSPHY
We are not here to tell families what to choose.
We are here to ensure they have the evidence, education, and support necessary to make informed decisions for their children
OUR CORE VALUES

evidence
We follow the science wherever it leads.

Hope
Families deserve hope without false promises.

Compassion
Families searching for answers deserve understanding rather than judgment.

Transparency
We distinguish personal experiences and emerging research from established scientific evidence.

Collaboration
Meaningful progress requires families, autistic individuals, healthcare professionals, researchers, advocates, and policymakers working together.

Advocacy
Families deserve a voice in the research and policies affecting their lives.
